Share your reason for leaving your country.
Met a Canadian while working on cruise ships, fell in love and moved
here.

Were the adjustments difficult?
It has been difficult, not knowing anyone and being so far from family,
and with the time differnce even calling home is a problem.

What was the immigration process like (visas, work permits, residency, etc.)? 
I have a working visa for a year and need to sort out how I am going to stay here after that.

Are you working?
Yes, I work for a family as a nanny! 

What are the pros and cons of living in your new country?
Pros: My boyfriend is here and I got to see snow.
Cons: Everything is so expensive in Canada.

Do you miss 'home'? How often do you visit?
I miss my family and bits and pieces. Haven’t visited yet, they will have to visit me.

Any advice to share?
Not really. I am still working it out but would love some advice from others.
