Everyone has a story to tell

Many women have gone through the experiences of meeting their partner either online or in a more 'traditional' way like on vacation or a business trip or at college. They have worked hard with their partners to make their dreams of being together come true and in so many cases, it was the woman who packed up her life and moved to her partner's country. 

One advantage to developing a romance on the Internet or across the miles is the fact that it encourages people to have to focus on each other's personalities. In the absence of a physical relationship that real life interaction may bring, people communicate with words to get to know one another. Many Internet romances successfully turn into real life relationships, and those couples reap the advantage of already knowing each other very well by the time they meet for the first time. When you meet someone you have known for a length of time online, you are meeting a person who is at the same time both a stranger and also very familiar.
